- Introduction Grant Writing: Writing a grant or contract proposal can be very frustrating and time-consuming. This workshop will give you step-by-step guidance on how to write an award-winning grant proposal. She has more than 25 years’ experience in Grants and Contracts Research Administration and currently serves as a Financial Administrator at the Georgia Institute of Technology (GA Tech), in Atlanta, Georgia, Founding member, and Vice-President for Research and Economic Development at NuDigi.Tech, in Riverdale, Georgia, and Founder, President, and CEO of the Center for Business Innovative Research, Inc., (CBIR) in Jonesboro, GA. She also serves as a volunteer SCORE Business Development Consultant and Mentor in partnership with the United States Small Business Administration(SBA), in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Marrero has secured and managed millions of dollars in grant and contract funding from federal, state, foundation, and industry organizations.
